Company Versus Contact
Every salesperson's mental processes work differently. If
you are like me, you tend to think of your contacts by name.
Other selling professionals associate their contacts with
the name of their company. Neither is better, and both work.
The problem comes when you'd prefer to see your appointments
and tasks listed by company when the Act! default is to list
by contact name. Or somehow (and you don't know how) the lists
are by company when you would like them by contact name.
any of Act!'s calendar views (daily, weekly or monthly) it
is easy to move back and forth between preferred views. The
multiple personalities within us are accommodated by pulling
down the "View" menu, and clicking the last entry
on the list. Whether you choose "Company Names Only"
or "Contact Names Only" the choice is up to you,
and changed again in a couple of clicks.
